Creative Journeys respects your privacy and will process your personal data in a secure and careful manner, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This statement explains which personal data Creative Journeys processes, for what purposes, how Creative Journeys handles this data, and how long the data is retained. You are encouraged to read this privacy statement carefully.
The processing of personal data falls within the statutory exemption regulations and has therefore not been reported to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Personal Data

Creative Journeys processes personal data within the meaning of Article 4 GDPR. Personal data includes all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

If the personal data concerns a person under the age of 16, permission from the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) is reasonably required for the adjustment, deletion, or other processing of personal data. If you believe that Creative Journeys has collected personal data from minors without consent, please contact Creative Journeys. The data will then be removed.

Personal Data, Legal Basis, and Purposes

Creative Journeys processes personal data in the first instance when you enter into an agreement with Creative Journeys. Personal data is used to provide you with specified offers for Creative Journeys’ services. In addition, your data is processed for billing and accounting purposes.

The personal data that Creative Journeys processes includes:
  • First and last name
  • Gender
  • Date of birth
  • Address details and billing address if different
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Bank details
  • Company information (including Chamber of Commerce number and VAT number)
  • Images by which you can be identified
  • Other personal data actively provided by you, such as social media accounts or login IDs
  • Location data
  • Data about your activities on the website
  • Internet browser and device type
This data is collected through personal conversations, phone calls, email contact, or the contact form on the website.

Creative Journeys processes this data for the following purposes:
  • To address or correspond with you correctly using your name and title
  • To send offers from Creative Journeys, such as quotations
  • To contact you by phone or email when necessary to perform Creative Journeys’ services
  • To register and verify or authenticate users of services
  • To perform the agreement you have entered into
  • To process your payment
  • To inform you of changes to services
  • To send newsletters and promotional materials
  • To offer you the possibility to create an account
  • Spam prevention
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as data needed for administration, billing, bookkeeping, and tax returns
  • To analyse your behaviour on the website to improve the website and tailor products and services to your preferences
Creative Journeys processes your data based on your consent, on the grounds of a contract, when necessary to pursue legitimate interests of Creative Journeys, or due to a legal obligation. Personal data will not be processed in ways incompatible with the purposes for which it was collected.

Retention Period

Personal data processed by Creative Journeys will not be retained longer than necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data was collected. Personal data is stored until the applicable statutory retention period, unless otherwise required (Article 5 GDPR).

For invoices and financial administration, a retention period of seven years applies under the legal administrative obligations of the Dutch Tax Authority. After this period, data will be deleted or anonymised.

Cookies are stored for the duration of your browser session. Reviews are deleted once Creative Journeys receives a request for removal.

Sharing Personal Data with Third Parties

Creative Journeys does not share your personal data with third parties unless this is necessary for the performance of the agreement, to comply with accounting or administrative obligations, or due to mandatory legislation. These third parties are bound by confidentiality obligations through a data processing agreement and/or legal requirement.
Creative Journeys enters into a data processing agreement or confidentiality agreement with companies that process personal data on its behalf to ensure an equivalent level of security and confidentiality. Creative Journeys remains responsible for these processing activities. Personal data will never be sold to third parties.
Your personal data may be shared with the following parties:
  • Email marketing software
  • Web hosting providers
  • Payment service providers and payment systems
  • Accounting software
  • Telecommunications providers
  • CRM systems
  • Software Service Systems (such as Typeform)

Automated Decision Making

Personal data used by Creative Journeys is always processed by a person. Creative Journeys does not make decisions that have significant consequences for individuals based solely on automated processing. This includes decisions made by computer programs or systems without human involvement.

Your Privacy Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

To exercise these rights, you may send your request to hello@creativejourneys.com. Creative Journeys will review your request as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest. If Creative Journeys cannot comply with your request, you will be informed of the reason for refusal.

Creative Journeys is entitled to verify your identity by requesting a valid identification document, driver’s licence, or passport. In such copies, please black out your photograph, MRZ (machine readable zone), passport number, and citizen service number (BSN).

Cookies

Creative Journeys uses technical and functional cookies, analytical cookies that do not infringe your privacy, and marketing cookies.
A cookie is a small text file placed on your computer, tablet, or smartphone during your first visit to the website.

The cookies used by Creative Journeys are necessary for the technical functioning of the website and your user experience. They ensure that the website works properly and remember your preferences.
Data you provide may be used for statistical analysis, including via Google Analytics and Encharge. These statistics help optimise Creative Journeys’ services and website. Where possible, the data is anonymised.
Marketing cookies are used to create user profiles to display advertisements or track users for similar marketing purposes.
You may opt out of cookies by configuring your browser to no longer store cookies. You can also delete previously stored cookies through your browser settings.

Social media buttons

The Creative Journeys website includes social media buttons that allow you to promote web pages on platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram. These buttons function through code provided by these platforms. Creative Journeys recommends reviewing the privacy policies of these parties to understand how they handle your personal data. Creative Journeys has no influence on this processing.

Security

Creative Journeys takes the protection of your personal data seriously and employs appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorised modification. These measures include:

  • Pseudonymisation of data

This Privacy Policy was last amended on 11 December 2025. Creative Journeys reserves the right to change this statement at any time. The most recent version can always be found on the Creative Journeys website. If a revised version affects the way Creative Journeys processes your personal data, you will be informed by email.
